I grew up in the great state of Minnesota, but traveled around in my college years studying art and photography. While living Chicago I was blessed with the opportunity to find The Chicago School of Massage Therapy was only a neighborhood away from where I lived. I took a chance that the school would let me in with a weeks notice and started my new career as a Massage Therapist.
I helped the Fairmont Medical Center Hospice department start a massage therapy program and then provided massage for hospice clients and chair massage for FMC employees. I have worked in the Chicago Marathon Massage Therapy Tent as well as with the Ronald McDonald House providing massage for parents of sick children. Not only am I Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (that's what the intials stand for!), I am Professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. It is our goal to promote the benefits of massage for all people in a professional, safe, and therapeutic atmosphere.
